Kagome: a girl who on her 15th birthday starts the adventure of a lifetime! She goes into her family's shrine to find their cat. In the shrine is a well that has a seal on it. all of the sudden the top of the well comes off and a demon pulls her into the well and tells her to give her the jewl. Kagome has nooo idea what she is talking about. well (no pun intended) she hits the bottom of the well and isn't quite sure what has just happened. She climbs out of the well to find that it is in the middle of a field. She recognizes a certin tree and thinks she's almost home. To her surprise, she finds a boy with dog ears and bound to the tree. The villagers find her and take her back to the village. After they realize she is no harm, they feed her. Problem. the demon comes back! she tries to lead it to the "forest of Inuyasha" and things happen and somehow a jewl breaks from her side! That's the jewl the demon was after. Some how Inuyasha awakes from his slumber!(bad news considering he himself was after the jewl before he was bound to the tree by Kikyo, the preistess guarding the Jewl,(who parished after doing so) 50 years earlier.) Well somehow Kagome Breaks the spell and Inuyasha is Released! he kills the demon and demands the jewl! Kaeade( Kikyo's younger sister) Puts a beaded necklace on Inuyasha and tells Kagome to Say something to hold his spirit! she thinks then says "SIT BOY". And inuyasha falls flat on his face. after that Inuyasha wouldn't leave Kagome's side until she gave him the Shikon no tama (the jewl). Another demon got ahold of it and when trying to kill it Kagome broke the jewl with an arrow! this begins their quest to find all the Shards. you see if a demon has a shard of the jewl His power increases 100 fold!!!!! Join them on the journey to get all of the Jewl shards back.
